When storing, the temperature in the warehouse should be maintained between 18 and 40 degrees Celsius, and the relative humidity should be kept between 50% and 80%.

During storage, the conveyor belt must be placed in rolls and not folded. It should be turned over once every quarter during the storage period.

Conveyor belts of different types, specifications and layers should not be used together, and their joints are best made by adhesive bonding.

The type, structure, specification and number of layers of conveyor belts should be reasonably selected according to the usage conditions.


The operating speed of the conveyor belt generally should not exceed 2.5 meters per second. For materials with large lumps and high abrasiveness, and when using fixed unloading devices, a lower speed should be adopted as much as possible.

The relationship between the diameter of the drive roller of the conveyor and the layer arrangement of the conveyor belt, the matching of the drive roller and the redirecting roller, as well as the requirements for the trough Angle of the idler roller should be reasonably selected in accordance with the design specifications of the conveyor.

The feeding direction should be in line with the running direction of the conveyor belt. To reduce the impact of the falling materials on the conveyor belt, a chute should be adopted to shorten the falling distance of the materials. The spacing of the idlers in the receiving section of the conveyor belt should be shortened and buffer idlers should be used to prevent material leakage. Soft and moderately soft baffle plates should be adopted in the conveyor belt to avoid the baffle plates being too hard and scratching the surface of the conveyor belt!
