Conveyor Belt Slippage: Friction-Tension Synergy Scheme

  1. Dynamic Tension Regulation
    • Spiral Tensioning Device: If slippage occurs on the right side, rotate the right screw clockwise (1–2 turns each time), ensuring the deviation of the extended length of the screws on both sides is ≤ 10mm.
    • Counterweight Tensioning Device: Adjust the axis of the tensioning pulley to ensure the tension difference between both sides of the belt is ≤ 5%, while maintaining the counterweight in a vertical suspended state.
  2. Friction Enhancement Measures
    • Clean oil stains and material deposits on the pulley surface; for severely worn pulleys, recoat them with high-friction rubber material.
    • Increase the pulley wrap angle: By adding auxiliary pulleys or adopting dual-pulley drive, the wrap angle can be increased from 180° to 210°–240°, enhancing friction by over 30%.
  3. Intelligent Prevention Mechanism
    • Install a slip detection device (triggers an alarm when the speed difference > 10%).
    • Adopt variable frequency speed regulation technology: Operate at low speed (0.5 times the rated speed) during startup to avoid impact loads.
